My name is Maribeth and I am a professor. I enjoy genealogy and technology. I was a classroom teacher from 1972 until 1981 ish and have been a professor since about 1982… I have been at my current university since 1984 (earned tenure in 1988) and hope to be there for several more years… I enjoy teaching adults and especially enjoy teaching online… I have blogs under facebook, myspace and other places and am looking for the best blog/social network for me… My life has taken a dramatic turn this May of 2007 with the sudden and unexpected death of my spouse. I am starting one aspect of my life over and am seeking to move forward on the paths directed and placed before me by God… I want to be the best me possible and hope that the world will be a better place for me having been here…
These pages contain bits and pieces about me as well as some of the interesting components from my continuum of friends. My friend fog (Ken Gilbert) writes poetry under the name of erin-cilberto. I try to keep up with his daily poems as best as I can… My friend Scott ((Bones) Miller plays and sells bones… You can link to him or even just play a clip here. There are also links to some of my other sites as well as posts about some of my interests and events…
I am not sure which direction this blog will take… In that way it is a bit like me…

Yesterday in my collaboration class I saw an older video with you in it role playing as a parent. You look the same.
