This is an awesome site! I told a retired county board member (he’s in his 70s) that I could tell him what the phase of the moon was on the day he was born, and he gave me this look of disbelief. Maybe I should have placed a bet on this! I plulgged in his D.O.B. and he was surprised. I’ve also shared this site with family and friends.

I definitely plan to use it when I’m teaching. It might even be a good resource for a math or geography webquest.

It’s a great website. I imagine it being extremely helpful to high school students in calculus or trigonometry. I typed in a fraction problem to see if it would be helpful (I teach fourth grade) and it showed the answer immediately…I wish it would’ve shown an explanation on how to do it.

Dr. Kasik,
The Wolframalpha website was phenomenal. I love math and I wish that this website was created during my undergrad. life. Thanks for introducing me to it!

I like the 2 pieces of Swiss Cheese! All of those charts and such are really cool and fun to look at and learn about!

The website was very interesting. It has so much information that it could keep me busy for hours. I am always interested in different topics such as the ones that the website has. I love to look up how much a mortgage would be or how an equationwould look or what happened on a particular day 100 years ago or 50 years ago. I could spend hours on that website. I thought it was very interesting and thank you for sharing it with us.

I thought that the site was great. The possiblities are endless. I thought that the applications that could be done with scienc are great. The molucule diagrams and the plant information was terrific. I thought that using the site to find genolgy was interesting even thought I did not find alot of information about my last name.

Wow! This website is the ultimate research tool. It’s also a lot of fun to visit. I was sharing it the evening I got home from class and at work the next day.
